For the second year in a row the Śnieżka Group was included in the ranking of the “European Coatings” magazine and advanced once again. The results achieved in 2021 allowed it to take 22nd place among the largest manufacturers of paints and varnishes in Europe. Śnieżka has remained the only representative of Central and Eastern Europe in the ranking.

Śnieżka achieved a higher position in the ranking owing to the Group’s sales revenues in the category of paints and varnishes. Its consolidated result from sales of products included by the authors of the ranking last year amounted to EUR 161 million (compared to EUR 169 million a year earlier). In all product categories, Śnieżka’s total revenues amount to almost EUR 174 million, or PLN 794.9 million.

– Śnieżka has been present in the European Coatings ranking for five years. This year’s promotion in this prestigious ranking strengthens our position among the largest European manufacturers in the industry. It also indicates how we managed last year, particularly up against the challenges faced by the entire market, including the paints and varnishes sector, comments Aleksandra Małozięć, Corporate Communications Director at Śnieżka SA.

For the first time, Śnieżka was found on the list of “European Coatings” in 2018 and since then it has maintained its position among the 25 largest European manufacturers of paints and varnishes. It is the only Polish company in the ranking, and also the only representative of industry companies from the region of Central and Eastern Europe.

The ranking prepared by the “European Coatings” magazine (published by the German publishing house Vincentz Network) is based on the manufacturers’ annual revenues from the sale of decorative and protective coatings. Only companies with headquarters in Europe are classified in it.
